Mutants, both humanoids, and animals struggle to survive in this desolated scenario. Nature adapts to the cataclysm and takes over the ruins, and the only remains of the annihilated human civilization are a bunch of creatures deformed by the effects of radiation that you can hardly recognize as members of the race that once dominated the world. A ravaged world is all that's left behind after a terrible nuclear war.
